Google celebrates World’s Fair anniversary.
World Fair or also known as World Expo, is an event where participating countries can show off their very own culture, tradition, products and services. According to World’s Fair’s Wikipedia entry, the World Fairs originated in France with their tradition of national exhibitions held in Paris.
Other countries in Europe reportedly adopted the practice, until on May 1, 1851 when London launched the first ever International World Fair. Now you know why Google is celebrating World Fair today until tomorrow.
Google’s World’s Fair Doodle is very interesting, and very beautiful (compared to the Audubon Doodle last week), users can magnify the illustrations of World Fair attendees inside the tweaked logo. Isn’t that cute?
