In just two weeks, Norin Radd will finally return to comics when Marvel releases the first issue of a five-issue limited series. Titled just “Silver Surfer”, the book will be written by popular Marvel writer Greg Pak with art by Stephen Segovia. While we’d love to see the Surfer back in an on-going series (and Marvel would be smart to do so!), we’ll take whatever we get.
Maybe if enough people run out and snatch up copies of this limited series, Marvel will give the Silver Surfer an on-going series. DC has found incredible success with Green Lantern, and the Surfer is the most “science fiction” based hero Marvel has. So maybe the Power Cosmic can rake in the cash if they give it a chance?
